Marcus Aurelius - 2001-02-03
This is a statue of Marcus Aurelius. They have the room dark so that the light won~~t hurt the marble. They had some very interesting displays showing how they had reconstructed the statue. One of the cool things I learned was that they had soaked it in acetone to loosen the glue holding the thing together. Really. No, really.
