The Bitterroots - 1999-09-26
Ah... The Bitteroot Valley in September. The begining of fall, the light snow on the mountains, the blue sky made a disgusting turquoise by Photoshop.

Where was the picture taken? I am looking for pictures from Montana and Wyoming where I lived as a kid.

Bitterroot valley.

I used your picture in class to talk about the Bitterroots as part of Lewis & Clark Expedition vocabulary development for ESL students. Thank you...

A beautiful picture. And I appreciate your open ended use permission since I am an amature artist looking for interesting pictures to use as reference objects for my drawings/paintings. Few people how had the copyright laws are on struggling artists who don't have the resources to travel to all the interesting places in the world where the best subjects may be found and then some artists are bound by age, handicap, or life circumstances and can't get to the places they would like to. I probably won't use this photo but I just wanted to thank you for the kind offer. Linus
