We're using this photo for a PowerPoint that will be shown to downtown development agency people in at a national conference in Denver, to educate them about wayfinding in general and a new signage program in downtown L.A. in particular. Thanks for your beautiful photography, and for taking a stand against the abuse and overuse of copyrights.

This is really a great photo.

It is being used by my production company, 1905 Productions in a documentary titled, "My Pittsburgh: A Tale of Two Cities" It is a first person documentary in the style of Super Size Me, or Roger in Me, in which Hollywood screenwriter Carl Kurlander, after an appearance on the Oprah Winfrey Show, decides to move back to his hometown of Pittsburgh Pennsylvania.

The particular picture you took of LA is being used in a section of the movie where Richard Florida, author of the book, 'Rise of the Creative Class' compares the willingness of progressive cities like LA, Portland, and Austin to attract creative talent, and the inability of cities like Buffalo, Pittsburgh, and Detroit to do the same.

The film is in the final stages of post-production and we are beginning the licensing phase which is why in part I am writing to you. Hopefully the movie will be shown on the festival circuit and after that have some sort of distribution, although at this point the festival circuit seems to be where most of the attention is.

If you would like to know more about the movie, see our website, www.thepittsburghmovie.com, or feel free to contact us by email at 1905prod@gmail.com

Thanks again for the great LA picture!
