I wanted a peaceful glowing look to my xanga site (online journal).

It's accompanying a newspaper story about people who grieve during the holidays. I credited PDPhoto.org. Thanks for this service.

I am using this image as a background for a menu on my sisters wedding DVD I am creating. I'm a student in Product Design, and I am very grateful for the service you are doing by posting free hi-res photographs. Thanks again, and Happy Holidays.

Candles

Light a candle flame
Perhaps in hope
A new beginning
To make shadows dance
Life, by candle light
Or all of these

Blow out a candle flame
Its breathless curl
Return to darkness
Loss of hope
The end of life
Or none of these

Allow your dream --

Using a thumbnail version of the picture on my website.

It really is a stunning photo. Thank you for this lovely place!

I love how close this picture is. You get alot of the detail of the candle. The shadows around the candle and the reflection the flame has on the wax is spectacular.

I used this amazing image in a motivational poster i am creating.

I'm using this image to make a bookmark for my mother who's favorite poem is by Edna St. Vincent Millay:
My candle burns at both ends;
It will not last the night;
But ah, my foes, and oh, my friends--
It gives a lovely light!
